Prof. Hillel Pratt

Hillel Pratt, PhD is a Professor Emeritus of Medical Science and Biomedical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He received his PhD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and did his Post-Doc in the University of California, Irvine. He then founded the Evoked Potentials Laboratory in the Technion in Haifa and devoted his research to objective measures of auditory function with emphasis on novel methodologies of signal acquisition and analysis. Prof. Pratt is past-president of the Israeli Society for Clinical Neurophysiology, the Israeli Society for Auditory Research and was a member of the executive committee of the International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group for many years. Prof. Pratt published 250 peer-reviewed publications and hundreds of abstracts and short communications in conference proceedings. Among his 80 graduate students that have already graduated are leaders in academia, industry and health care.
